Mifare DesFire Contactless Smart Card
The Mifare 4k contactless smart card is based on NXP MF1 IC S70 connected to a coil
with a few turns, and then embedded in plastic. No battery is needed. The communication
layer complies to part 2 and 3 of the ISO/ICE14443A standard. The security layer sports
the field proven CRYPTO1 stream cipher for secure data exchange of the Mifare Classic family.
Expanding on the functionality of
MIFARE 1k, the
MIFARE 4k was developed.
It provides significant increased memory size, making it the perfect solution for multi-application cards.
It allows end-users to be more flexible and to experience improved convenience.
